Long waiting time for waitlist ?

I am very interested in taking part in this hackathon. But the major criteria is to use Kiro, but they are currently only taking application for waitlist. Can something be done regarding this ? But I do understand that the team has been trying their best, can we start building project now and use kiro once we get access ?

    Thats a bummer! I also registered for the hackathon only to find out there is a waitlist :( Any updates on when this will be addressed? or just pause or extend the hackathon till then?

    We're in close contact with the Kiro team who are working hard to address these issues. Please note that the deadline will be extended to ensure everyone has ample time to use the tool. Sorry for the inconvenience!

    It looks like Devpost is misrepresenting how close they are with the Kiro Dev team. It's been one week and they still haven't figured out how to give everyone a fair chance to win.
